An artist has moved into Seaport! Let's see how his first week here goes for him :)
Here's the artist himself! His name is James Barnett, an upcoming artist who moved from the big city of SimCity to Seaport to get some inspiration, fresher air, and to start a new life.

Another thing I love about his house; Spacious backyard!
James starts painting, as he plans on opening an art gallery in town, where he will sell paintings made by him and other well known artists around SimNation.
Residents begin to come over to his house to welcome him in the neighborhood, starting with Brenden Stewart!
Some more residents arrive, including my two favorites- Catherine Enlow and Cora Fennell
Cora, I hope you're not planning to do any harm to James now... ;^_^
Catherine: Welcome to the neighborhood! I live right next door to you, so don't be afraid to come on over! We can play some games if you're interested.
Catherine and James seem to be getting along pretty well, I can only assume that they're talking about their occupations.
You're not into her, Paul Hager? I thought aliens were a turn on for you!
Catherine: Whut did I do?
Paul:...
Catherine: *In mind* Did my ancestors really do that?
Later on in the evening, James headed to his backyard to dig for stuff, so he has more money in his wallet, because this house was not cheap.
Uh oh!
Last night of autumn :D
Back inside, a stinky James enjoys a nice bowl of Mac and cheese
After a nice shower, he heads to bed.
The next day!
He pops one singular toaster pastry into the oven
(I should start buying small appliances like microwaves n toasters for my sims neow huh? Never used them so maybe I shall! makes the house seem more homey!)
Then some more digging, in the cold winter morning...in his undies...
why.
Then he heads off to work! I have him in the artist career, because that's what he is; an artist
Back from work with a promotion and a bonus!!!!
He relaxes for a bit
Then continue painting
(why does his waist look so snatched omg)
The next day, some more painting
Time to pay bills!
He goes ahead and takes a loan of 30k simoleons to buy his art gallery...
...but his computer shut down and smoke started to fly out of it, I can only assume it broke so quickly since it's a MacBook XD
Anyways, he works on repairing it
Snow!
Coming back from work, he continues repairing his MacBook
It's fixed! He goes ahead and purchases his art gallery.
Later on in the night, he heads over to The Electronic Peach to buy some electronics for his house.
It seems like Catherine was more interested with Ramon Perez, the town's firefighter.
Catherine: Who's that guy?
He also got to meet the towns reporter, Val, who we will never see again because somehow vanished from the town...so maybe in the next rotation, we will get a new one? Why did she leave?
James also got to meet Ramon, and they both seem to realize that they both have similar winter outerwear XD
I Loveee taking pictures like these; a lot of sims, doing their own thing, it looks so alive ^_^
He also got to meet the mayor himself, Elijah Fowler!
Back at home, James enjoys his new TV.
The next day...
Nothing really happens, he didn't have to go to work that day, so it's a chill day for him.

Then some more digging later on in the night.
The last day of his rotation, he wakes up super early for his grand opening of his art gallery, Gallery De Barnett!
He even has a studio where he can work on some paintings and pottery
I believe he dug this from the ground, so he's selling that too since it's art!

On the side of the building, there's an outdoor seating area
The gallery is open! And Brenden is the first customer...or is Mara the Penguin first?
James greets her with a pat on the head :)
Business went well for the opening day! I can't wait to go into my playable sim's inventory and see if they bought any art later on :)
And that's the end of the round! I can't wait to play with James next round, and see what happens next.

- Before I saved and left his lot, he ended up being sick with the flu T_T ... hopefully there wont be flu epidemic in round 3!!
- He also rolled the want to ask a sim on a date, and I locked that want, so next round there will be a date night!
